Today, I went cherry picking on the Niagara Escarpment. I have been going each year for probably the last 20 years, and never saw cherry trees so loaded. The clusters were larger than life, and even grapes don't grow so abundantly.

I utilized my newly invented container for picking, and it passed with flying colours. I could climb to the top of the ladder and pick with both hands and not be concerned with spillage. http://xrl.us/kkdrj 8 July 2008 Berry picking container.
The container is a small lunch thermos purchased at Wal-mart, with the top partially cut out leaving a ridge to reduce the possibility of spillage. It is exacly 6 quarts.
