We have 10 000 Cedar Seedlings to give away by donation! My boyfriend, Justin, had his handbike, a bicycle for a person who doesn't have the use of his/her legs, stolen from our parking garage last year. In our attempts to try to raise funds to get him a new one, we have recieved the blessing of 10 000 Cedar Seedlings to sell for the cause, if we sell them for 1$ each, we will have enough money for the $10 000 price tag of a new handcycle. If you, or anyone you know would like more information, please contact Justin at 604.671.6370 or jt (at) justintilson.com. The cedars can be used as hedging, or planted wild to grow as large as 100 feet. Their life span is 5-600 years. What a great investment in the future of our planet! Thanks for your help, Justin and Lisa
are you able to list the actual species or variety available? It sounds like western red cedar , Thuja plicata..
I just googled a few things on them, and one ref. said they're hardy to zone 5, another only to zone 7-8, so keep it in mind if you're looking to plant them.
