It was decided to determine the size since the season is ending. Three plants were dug and about one kilo of small tubers was obtained. The largest of these was baked in a Dutch Oven. Even small the tubers are very tasty. The remaining seven will be allowed to grow until the first frost is apparent probably this month. The vegetation is most prolific. This is removed just prior to harvesting.
