‘Mother Trees’ Are Intelligent: They Learn and Remember
great link! thank you
Where did the author grow up ?
I know it says - to effect - logger family in BC
what an interesting project
indeed - even at my basic Univ level - it’s all a very intricate and remarkable system - far beyond my comprehension, science or otherwise
It reminds me - a family acquaintance of significant astronomic expertise (universe research) replied in response to me (for me, the typical Ntl Geo magazine diagrams are far beyond (not a pun) )- even they as a much educated scientist researcher didn’t fully understand. A humble science person.
@Junglekeeper i appreciate the news you find and post
Georgia, you are not the only one who doesn't fully understand. I've seen recent reports from scientists who doubt some of these conclusions, such as https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/do-trees-support-each-other-through-a-network-of-fungi/.
