Initially thought that the leaves were too deeply cut
Pretty sure it is deciduous. Grows much like a Hedge Maple, aggressive.

This deciduous shrub is growing in Victoria BC. Blooms in June later than most Ribes and is 6' tall. Odd that the flowers are semi-upright....
