I would hazard a guess at an overwatering problem. So maybe cut down on that and see how they respond?

No need to prune. The burn would only be superficial to the leaves in question so it's not like you have to worry about anything 'spreading'...

Have you had a lot of rain? I know they don't like to be overwatered (although how much you can control that if they are outside, I know...).
