I have wild foxglove in bloom and I would like to give some away. Can it be safely moved now?

Easier to give away the seeds when they are ripe in a couple of months.

Yes, but really... foxglove? Not sure what kind you mean by "wild" but the usual types of these things keep growing on concrete if you discard them, at least the non-blooming rosettes do. More to the point is whether a clump in bloom will grow again - each clump is biennial. However, wherever it is moved to, it will no doubt seed itself about.

In summary, moving a first year rosette of leaves, or seeds, are pretty good ways of moving them. In bloom, the flower might suffer from the move but the move will likely be successful in the long run.
