Does anyone happen to know what compound in cherry blossom petals causes the white milky looking damage to car paint? More importantly does anyone know of a repair to that damage short of respraying the vehicle?

Dont know what the causes the spots but go on down to your local auto parts store and get some fine rubbing or polishing compound and some pads and rub them out kinda like hand waxing. If your elbows are not up to it a good auto detail company should be able to buff them out, they may have to wet sand first. thats not something to do if you dont know how to do it very easy to go through the clear coat and ruin the paint.
