I need help IDing this plant. I got it from a school greenhouse and it has this huge arm thing coming off of it and it goes up to this cluster of flowers and misc leaves. I think that the arm is draining the nutrients from the actual plant and I don't know if I should clip it off or what I should do. I really like it and I want it to do well. Thanks for the help.

im not sure what it is .. succulants are not my thing .. but thing right now as i would not touch it as far as cutting it off while it is in bloom .. just keep it supported for now .. so there is no stress on the stalk ..

Looks like an Echeveria sp. but stem so untypically lanky from light deprivation that it will probably be hard to say which. These are sun-loving plants.
