    Hello,
We just bought a house in Coquitlam. The previous owners had rolls of grass installed last summer. It looks like it's never going to come back ! Only mud is left ! What should we do ? How and when will we be able to know if it will grow back ? Our backyard has a west-south exposure. Thank you !

new turf or grass seed, perhaps wait a few weeks till the weather is a bit warmer, either will establish swifter then.

It is hard to say when one can't see it directly. For the rolls of grass that were installed, can you see any grass at all? Is the mud covering the grass? Was there any erosion over the winter? Was the lawn used for any activities? West-south exposure is good for lawn grasses.
