    hi all
new member here. can any of the tree experts identify the enclosed trees i am going to get some proper labels to go on them so could do with knowing what they are.
some of the pics i have shown with a coin so you can judge what size the leaves are.
    thanks
    richard

Just the three names for the three 'main' trees in the pics; one of the pics (#7) has a fourth tree at the extreme edge of the photo

I guess my browser is showing the pics in a different order to yours! - mine shows 1, 7 & 8 as the same tree, and 5 & 6 as the same tree.

Yep . . . just tried looking in a different browser, and the pics came up arranged differently!

Try to do this by descriptions . . .

The tree with the long, soft needles (with coin in pic) is Abies concolor subsp. lowiana (Low's White Fir)

The other tree with a coin in the pic, where the needles are about the same length as the coin's diameter, is Abies pinsapo (Spanish Fir)

The third tree, not pictured with a coin, is Picea sitchensis (Sitka Spruce)
