I got this plant in the hospital, when my son was born, 17 years ago. It only had 2 small leaves then. Now, it's about 4' tall and 4' wide. It has waxy red flowers, with a white middle. This seemed a good place to find out what it is. Thanks!

It is a Philodendron. I have one of those ones, but I forget what they are called. It has purple stems, right?

There are no purple stems, but it's about to bloom, so maybe I'll add a new picture. Thanks!
