Please help…. I planted some hydrangeas last year; they have grown some, (not much), have just few leaves that have ugly rusty spots and some blooms. The blooms are whitish, but the varieties I planted were pink and blue.... Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong...I give then plenty of water and they are planted in shade. Someone suggest spreading egg shells around them..will that help?.. Thanks a lot.. Espe
Hi Espe, Your hydrangea may have been mislabled if it's white. they like Acidic water, see if yours is alkali. also rust spots are a notorious disease these plants get.
Jodeecee, with no disrespect meant, not all hydranges like acidic water.
