Plant ID of Palms

    I need help to ID these 2 palms they look like small fan palm and King palm but I can't tell for sure, any help would be appreciated

    Not sure about the first one (look like a number of palms). The second one appears to be Sabal sp., perhaps Sabal minor.

    I am putting together a Landscaping Software program so the customers can see what the plants will look like on a photo of their home.

    i would say the first one is a Hyophorbe lagenicaulis ( bottle palm ).... ur from la there probably everywhere...... really popular

    Absolutely not "Hyophorbe lagenicaulis ( bottle palm )". The leaf structure and crown shaft are wrong.
    More likely Ravenea rivularis.

    lol i knew youd pop up lol ......... i thought the way the truck looked.... did htink there were too many leaflets on the leaves

    Methinks what Canadianplant is asking is "are these your own pics that you made yourself, or are they someone else's copyright pics lifted off the internet". The cut-out appearance of the pics with no background does rather make them look like the latter!

    That's usually the format used in landscape programs so they can be inserted by the designer.

    just to clarify..... can i ask where you found these pics and why your wondering what they are........ it means jsut what it says .. i was askign where he found the pics..... and what he is using them for......he answered my question
