For Rhododendron news in BC, you may wish to refer to the Vancouver Rhododendron Society site links page at http://www.rhodo.citymax.com/links.html (disclaimer - I am the webmaster)

Another useful site that links most of the related sites in BC including ARS chapter sites is one run by Garth Wedemire at http://www.rhodos.ca/

I just came across this list with a map of 50 rhododendrons planted in the Ted and Mary Grieg Rhododendron Garden in Stanley Park (in Vancouver, BC).

Edited Nov 12, 2015 by wcutler: I can't believe they took this down. I've written to ask where it is.
Edited Nov 18, 2015 by wcutler: just got a reply, archived location is
    http://former.vancouver.ca/parks/parks/stanley/rhodos.htm
They have asked the IT people to make it available. And the spelling in the document is Greig.

    Daniel,

I think this is an interesting site:

    http://www.hirsutum.info

People can send their photo's of rhododendrons, azaleas and vireyas and create a virtual arboretum.

    Kind regards,

    Herman

Whoops, also given above, but this should be noted by all. I have just received a reply to an earlier thread on yellow rhododendrons ['Nancy Evans' in title] from The Netherlands, and the poster gave a write-up and photo of another rhodo, 'Goldkrone', using this website which is fantastic for rhododendrons:

    http://www.hirsutum.info/

This statement is found on the front page of the website: "The purpose of this website is to give an overview (photos and information) of as many rhododendron species and hybrids as possible. A virtual botanical garden. A virtual arboretum." Wonderful resource. This should be very useful for many rhododendron and azalea enthusiasts. Perhaps some of you knew about it anyway, but here it is in case you didn't.
