The first one I bought on sale at Lowes and it didn't have an identifier. Before I plant it I want to make sure to plant it in the right spot.

The second one seems to be a vine of some sort growing on a bamboo stick, we just bought our house so I am not sure. THANKS!

    Both are outdoors

The first one is an herbaceous peony, probably Paeonia lactiflora. (You'll have to wait until it blooms to figure out which cultivar, as there are several hundred.) The second one is Polygonum convolvulus (syn. Fallopia convolvulus), commonly called wild buckwheet. It's usually considered a naughty weed; it closely resembles the bindweeds and morning glories, but its inconspicuous racemes eventually give it away.
