on second thought it is possible. But why does mine and my friends grow more like a vine the stems are very plyable but the color of branches rather then vines?

Perhaps a Peperomia obtosifolia common name Baby Rubber Plant? Or maybe a related species? Harry

I think the first one may be closer. I was told that it will bloom.
My friend gets hers to bloom a couple times a year but says they should only bloom once.

Not to awake, Peperomia mostly alternate leaved rather than your opposite leaves. Harry

thanks for all the suggestions. At least there is one thing I found for sure. My friend has kept them over watered. She waters twice a week. From all the ideas I gathered that it at least is a succulent needing little water. perhaps I will reduce the water and try again when it is bigger and healthier.

sorry guys but this one is still bothering me. I spoke to the woman who gave this to me and she says the flowers are in clusters and they are red. also I have noticed that the stems when young are as green as the leaves but as they thicken and get older they get sort of a white grey crackle over the green. Maybe this new info will help a little. Also when I mentioned the ideas people gave she said jade family jogs her memory the best but not certain.
