orchid cactus

    I have an orchid cactus that was given to me - last year it flowering wonderfully, but this year it looks like it is in trouble. It's leaves are withered and lots of brown spots on them - I don't know anything about this kind of cactus as I have only had xmas ones. It apperas rootbound and looks terrible. I need some help please.

    Hello MarianLynn,
    Its been years since I tried to grow an Orchid Cactus-Epiphyllum. I suggest that you type.. Epiphyllum+culture...into Google, and see if you can some related info about your situation with the browning and die back. I do remember this however. They usually have to be rootbound before they will bloom. So if you repot..do so in a slightly bigger pot so your wait for the next bloom cycle wont be so long.
