Squash flowers falling off

    My squash plant, after making 4 fruits, has decided not to make any more. All the female flowers turn yellow and fall off usually before blooming. The male flowers do just fine though.

    I have the same problem with the acorn squash and the cantaloupe plants which have no fruit. The cucumbers do not have this problem.

    Is there anything I can do about this?

    It could be a lack of pollinators. Have you tried hand pollinating? I don't grow squash, but my melons aren't having any problems. I see lots of bees on their flowers.

    Thanks for that, but the female flower buds usually fall off before they even bloom.
