I noted some very ‘lonely’ plants on all walk on footpaths around my home in Kent UK and thought them interesting. Please could someone identify. In order of photos: 1) Yellow flowered plant 2) Big green plant -with seed pods that adhere to your clothing and the plant always manages to grow on a path or nearby where humans and their dogs pass by. 3) I think this is a Plantain - but not sure. 4) Purple flower - this was growing in the middle of a field where horses graze - but appeared to not eaten by them. 5) Thistle of some kind I imagine. In a field of sheep but ignored by them. 6) Dandelion? - but very tall?
1. Maybe ragwort. Need clear pics to show leaves. 2. Burdock sp. 3. Plantago major, common name the broadleaf plantain 4. Maybe Malva moschata...clear pics would be so very helpful. 5. Thistle......clear pics would be so very helpful. 6. Looks like a Dandelion...need to see the leaves.
