    The only Acer palmatum that is in the ground. It's about 5 metres tall now, and it's the first time in years that it doesn't have any flowers...

    Love how this one is so different to my other two Palmatums, I think I'm going to try air layering a branch, nothing ventured nothing gained.

    Very nice : Air-layering works well on the plain species of palmatum, I've had 100% sucess so far.
