Yes Emery, here is the good machine to carry soil bags, firewood and 200kg containers effortlessly.
I have also for a long time a nursery trolley with a hydraulic pump to raise the tray, and big weels as needed.

Wow. Je suis scotché, I'm impressed.

My little "brouette" (wheelbarrow) is still rusting in the back of my garden...

Ah, I love it! The nursery trolley is what I was thinking of, a really good gizmo. Of course, the Iseki isn't half bad either!! What every garden of a certain size needs!

I employ a guy to cut the 2,5 Ha grass, which i can’t no longer do.
It was the solution for staying here.

I should be ashamed of myself. Three years ago I bought a set of wheels to make a trailer for our garden tractor. Still have the wheels and tractor, just no trailer. Now that we have -15ºC in the forecast for tomorrow, it looks like it will still be waiting awhile before I find that elusive "round tuit". Maybe in April...it's usually warmer here by then.

    Oh my... :-(

We're going to have a (very) few days between 0 and -2 at night at worst here, and about + 10 in the afternoon.

    Time to repot...

And a good one! Unthinkable to leave...

Ah, now you date us both, sir. May I say, I have (or had) an actual "round tuit" handed to me by the immortal Henny Youngman. I was introduced to him at the Friars in the 60s? 70s? I don't remember, nor the location of the tuit. But he shook my hand nicely, said "My pleasure, did you ever get a round tuit?" I don't remember my reply, but he handed me a wooden coin-like disk with "tuit" printed on it. He must have been used to the bewildered expression. I suppose Henny probably didn't invent the gag, but he certainly used it a lot during his long career.

    Chilly and foggy this morning.

It was my dad who gave me a cardboard "round tuit" maybe 40 years ago. naturally, I have managed to lose it.

D, you've certainly got your nerve, taunting us poor folks in the colonies with a plus 13 no less! I suppose it could be worse, but it's only -10.8ºC here as we speak. Yesterday we had some nasty winds all day, but it is temporarily calm here this morning. I suppose we will be expecting photos of all your maples budding out soon, will we?

Good evening Keith, hope you and your wife are well, regarding your question about my maples bursting out soon... I really hope not !! especially after the late Spring frosts of 2021 and how that decimated the trees here. So your weather in being -10 °c sounds very cold indeed, but at least it keeps the trees fast asleep. So there is a bright side to the cold in the colonies, Lol.

Here's my round "round tuit" which i gave to my late dad many many years ago now. This is mine now and when ever i need to do something at home i am quickly reminded of this and told to get my finger out and get "A ROUND TUIT " !!

Isn't that typical after a hail storm? Only -8.4ºC here this morning. It's warming up after all.

Hail, ugh. Been mixed sun and rain, with a bit of wind. Currently 5°C but feels like 0.4 according to the THSW Index. I agree: we had Cooper out for his walk and it felt really cold, though the sun was out. At least Meteo France is good about giving a forecast for "rain during the next hour", with a 5m granularity. Generally quite accurate, and very useful.

We've had the fire in the stove all day, though.
