The bench grafter's handbook is new, and quite expensive, but available in paperback. Still about 80€ though, but worth it. I would be surprised if there's a pdf available, and if there is it would be a pirate copy...

Yano's book is available in a digital (dvd) version, I believe you have to write the Nara Maple World (in Japanese) to obtain a copy. Presumably there is a pdf on the dvd, though I haven't seen it in person.

Just bought this book recently. I can't say enough good things about it. It's thorough, full of pictures and practical skills and insight. Glad I got it in print.

Looks like a good book, one for the wish list. I'd like the hardback, but £150!! wow...

I settled for the paperback, it's well put together anyway. I'm afraid my copy of Yano is starting to suffer a little, though. It's also a paperback, I don't believe there was ever a hardback version of the Book for Maples, too bad.
