Acer palmatum 'Beni hagoromo'

13th November 2020 and just as the leaves are disappearing until next Spring, my Beni Hagoromo gave a last hurrah.

 

20th November 2020 and the sun came out for the last minutes of the day and the rays were just perfect on my Beni Hagoromo. It had rained all day so the combination was just about right.

 

23rd November 2020 and still my Beni Hagoromo is holding on to it's Autumnal colours..

 

The two I have look quite different this spring. The one that held its red hues last year (in the shade) turned green very quickly, the other one (in a sunny spot from morning till mid_afternoon) still has red-orange leaves :
