Hi to all!! I'm new on this forum, and so I'd like to introduce myself and some of my little trees. I'm in Italy, near Milan, and I grow JM the most of all as bonsai trees...more of these are pre-bonsai and have a long way ahead. Actually I have around 70 trees, around 50 are maples in every stage of growing (a big work for pruning and repotting, but this is bonsai!)

Just start with an Acer Phoenix (I've took the pictures today and was cloudy.....)

As you said last night G you would post some of your maples today. And what beauties they are. I know I @Shin-Deshojo will like your Bonsai.
Great to have you on the forum, so welcome again G.

Hiya, I like the A. pictum var ambiguum very much. Something about the shape of the leaf is very attractive.

    Again, welcome!

Very nice G. I love the greens of your Aureum. Interesting that you call the maple in the 6th photo FG1 and not Fireglow. Synonyms do stick!!

I vivai Fratelli Gilardelli Italia (Omate Brianza e Pistoia) sono chiusi nel 2019 - Fratelli Gilardelli sono selezionati: Stella Rossa, Fire glow, Summer gold, Orange dream, shirasawanum Jordan (Giordano ..Gilardelli -because is the brother maples lover)

Good afternoon Alex. That is interesting reading. Also the fact that FG4 is a synonym of Red Flash, as I have that in my collection.

Orange Dream, Tsuma Gaki (I still have to understand how it "works"....), Autumn Red, Shirasawanum Jordan, Bi-Hoo, Orangeola, Atropurpureum, Higasayama, some little hybrids, Sherwood Flame, a big Shaina and (even if out of Maples family...) a 40 ys old Wisteria in a pot

This all I could find about it G.
All of the attributes of 'Bloodgood' in a smaller tree. Originally brought from Italy by Vertrees.

Thank you Monica, you’re very kind. I try to do my best and for me, as for others here I can imagine, it’s my “second job” cause it took a lot of time. And now that I have a 2 years daughter, it’s more difficult, hoping she will help me in some years...;)
