The tree has a nice dark green leaf with patches of white. It has a tight columner growing habit.

 

Here is the start of my new arrival 'Ilarian' . I hope it get as nice as the one in @amazingmaples post.

 

Saw it for sale on Mr maple D, an early Christmas present to yourself !!!??
Look forward to seeing it leaf out in a few months.

Update:

 

I have one that is similar D, 'Karasu-gawa'. It's a new one from 2020 and very small, so I haven't posted it yet, but the variegation looks as if it might be close to your Ilarian. Time will tell !!

 

That's a very nice one D. It's on my list now. I found it on Mrmaple website.

 

It's supposed to be the most variegated maple out there, but I will wait to give my thoughts with photos in a few weeks. Sometimes the variegations in some cultivars are not too stable, as we all know.
Definatly worth a try though if Mr Maple has it D.

 

Update: I'm very impressed with this maple.

 

My posting #10 said I would wait to see how yours turned out before passing my thoughts on this cultivar. But now I'm saying 'Wow'.

I think this could be a star in your collection D.

 

It have my full attention right now D. I hope it continue to perform like this.

Early days yet D, but I think it's going to be a favourite of mine.

 

And we wait patiently for them to grow up.

 

OH yes D. Patience is a must in our hobby.

 

Update : the pink has turn to white. I'm loving this tree.

I'm wondering will it stay like this until fall? What will the fall colors be? I'm really amazed how it's performing.
