    Hi all,

Just noticed this growing plant near our house and use a plant ID app to identify it. It says it could be a chestnut. Is that likely? I haven't noticed any near where we live in Seattle.

Pretty odd if it is a chestnut. I just finished a book that touches on the decimation of the American chestnut.

    Thanks for any help!

    That's wild!

Too bad it's so close to the house. I'll have to move it somewhere.

    Thanks very much.
