Need big nice tall indoor plant for my living room corner!

Hello any advice what type of plant i can buy for my living room to be situated in a corner? I want a tall nice plant..it will receive filtered light from a sliding door..here photo posted..wait your advice!!

 

It seems rather dark in that corner. However it may be enough for Chamaedorea elegans, Parlour Palm. Old specimens will have tall, bare stems with foliage at the top. Nevertheless, a younger and shorter plant may be more suitable because of the blinds.
