Well it's Good Friday and the start of the long Bank Holiday weekend, traditionally when so many think about their gardens and family BBQ's. At last we can mix again. Well six anyway.
So I thought as it's family time at last, I would add some of my ghosts just starting to get ready, as they used to be a topic of conversation with my granddaughters when they were younger, plus my Corallinum as it was looking pretty and they always liked it.
My Baby ghost is still not good enough to post, but hopefully soon.
So here are First ghost, Sister ghost, Uncle ghost, Amber ghost, Purple ghost and Corallinum.

Uh oh, I showed my posting to my wife and out came, "Where's Grandma ghost". I said, "I was going to add it as something special later". It worked Lol.
I did forget tbh. I do have 7 in total including Baby, so should have realised. Age is such a wonderful thing, Not !!!
So here it is from a few minutes ago...

Well I cheered myself up this morning. I had to call my supplier and provide credit card info for my order which is about to ship. I ordered a Magnolia (for my lovely granddaughter Maggie) back in November and a Japanese Sunrise a few days ago. While I had them on the phone I had them add a small Mikazuki to the order which should ship next week. I saw a few posts about Mikazukis recently here and thought one would make a nice addition. Do they do well in full sun? I'm not sure where I was planning to put it but I'll find a spot somewhere.

Went out to take pictures this morning, but winter is back and was way too cold and windy. Here's a Maggie shot instead!

My last photo is a maple that I don't know the cultivar, I suppose "bloodgood" but it doesn't matter if it is or not, I like it!

    Good night!

I agree, too often we get so hung up about names, if it gives pleasure then that is all that really matters. Yes we need names to correctly identify and so produce and continue a particular species and of course correctly sell etc etc. But yours is a beautiful maple in lovely condition, so I say thankyou for posting it. I enjoyed seeing it.
Good night to you also @Acirón.

Good morning, here are a few I took moments ago in my garden whilst we had lovely sunshine. I'm not unhappy about the cloud coming as that keeps the frost away.... for today at least.

So envious of your Baby. Mine is now in a basket aquatic pot to encourage the rooting system.

@Luke’s Maples, is your new garden South facing Luke? The reason I ask is yours are so much further advanced than mine.

What is the difference between Ballerina and Pink filigree lace Luke?
I have looked at both in Summer and I struggle to tell them apart. But it may be my old eyes, lol.

Peve Multicolour. First time I have ever seen this so quite excited. Although I am aware the gorgeous spring colours don’t last nearly long e

This one needs a bit more protection from the sun Luke. Leaves can fry very quickly. Just a heads up for you.

Mystic Jewel. I remember a few of us going out and buying 3ltr Mystic Jewels for £29.99 last summer. I wonder how each of ours will fare this year. Interesting me thinks.. ;-)

This one is definatly up there with the best reticulated varieties. Possibly the best!!? Protection in the Summer needed again though.
