Thank you, in a few days I might have some other photos to share. In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy this thread seeing other maples waking up around the world :)

Hi! Yes, but this year I'll put shadow/sun because I cut the roots too much.

Thanks! Mine always seems to burn in the sun so I've had to keep it in the shade.........I'll try again with full sun this year and see what happens!

I've just seen the forecast for my area on Monday and Tuesday, 18° C. 'Summer' !!!!?????? Wishful thinking probably.
So I thought I would take a few pics this morning whilst it's cold and blowing at 40mph. Last throws of Winter..... Perhaps ?? Lol.

Good morning J, hope you are well and enjoying your trees, especially your new ones. Our weather might even be up with yours next week ???
Yes baby steps, but I'm OK with that, as we do get those late Spring frosts that you probably don't. All our trees in different countries have to put up with a lot from the varying climates we have and yet they still reward us. What a tree!!!

Hi all. I nipped into the garden just before scurrying off to work as the sun was out and I wanted to check on the progress of my babies. Took a few snaps of course ;-)

The clocks have gone forward to British Summer time, so I thought I would take a few photos this morning to celebrate that we are now in the warm season here in England. Well it will be in a couple of days, 20°C possibly.

The start of a week of Mediterranean weather, oh how we have waited for this that seems like forever, lol. I'm staying outdoors all day until dark ..... took these few only minutes ago before lunch on the patio.
I've left the names with the thumbnails as requested by a few over the weekend.

So pretty and so often overlooked, your photo should give maple flowers a boost in popularity.

A lovely sunny and clear start to the day, but that meant an overnight frost. Looks like these have gone unscathed though. Fingers crossed.

They are coming along beautifully Luke. Did you get a frost up there in Oxford last night ? Watch out for Easter Monday btw, it's looking possible for a frost everywhere and after this heat this week everything will be leafing out.

Good morning! Your photos look very promising, can't wait to see them with full leaves.
