Sometimes you just have to look up to cheer yourself up and especially if Katsura is in the way with a clear blue sky beyond. It did it for me...

Good old Orange Dream doing it’s thing. Lovely contrast against the green bark.

Baby Sango Kaku looking quite vulnerable and helpless. Lovely bright red bark. Give this one 3 or 4 years and should start looking like a happy, proud tree.

These are all Grandma Ghost. I love the shape, and it has lots of new healthy and happy looking buds appearing.

I purchased this in memory of my Grandma a week after she passed. This tree will remain very special to me.

Hino Tori Nishiki competing with Beni Maiko for the brightest pink/red spring colour. I’m very excited about this one. Well actually I have 3 of them, so they’d better be as good as I’m hoping lol

baby ghost, this year the leaves and their color are surprising me, however, last year it looked like a normal green AP.

The truth is that I did not expect those colors, last year when I bought it I was disappointed when I saw it, it looked like a simple maple from the pile and this year when it sprouts I find it, and I think it will be one of my favorites.

Good morning, that is one of the best Orange Dream photos I've seen. Now that has given me a cheerful start to the day.

    Good morning!
Here in Rome we had an early taste of Spring around the middle of February. Had a couple of days with temperatures up to 20°C, and a few of my maples were so delighted that they decided it was time to wake up. But then Winter came right back with a week of frosty nights, down to -7°C. I managed to save them all, and now here they are. I hope the photos are good enough.
