Acer palmatum 'Coral Pink'

21st March 2021 and even though I had to cut the top off due to some diseased wood, my Coral pink is showing those lovely colours it is so well known for.

Si le fiore... Er... if the flowers produce viable seeds in Autumn, I'm ready to exchange some. ;-)

11th April 2021 and at last I can see the new shoots of my Coral pink. Two more frosts to come in next couple of nights, so my fingers are crossed.

So lovely and delicate to enable all the pink branches to be viewed. You have it just right D.

 

7th May 2021 and now my Coral pink has come to life.

 

18th June 2021 and now my Coral pink is in full flow. It's taken a while this year with the very difficult Spring we had here in the UK. But the pinks ate here at last.

 

12th July 2021 and my Coral Pink is enjoying this dull wet Summer.

The sun arrives tomorrow, so we will see how it changes.

 

21st July 2021 and with temperatures over 30°C all week, I was expecting some damage, but so far so good on my Coral Pink.

 

22nd April 2022 and my Coral Pink is looking so delicate and pretty this morning. I'm glad it waited for all the frosts to go before waking up.

 

4th May 2022 and some of my trees are still leafing out, but others are going into Summer colours.

 

29th May 2022 and heading towards Summer. The greens on this one are so different to many other maples in my garden. A fresh mint green !!

 

6th July 2022 and my Coral pink is doing rather well this Summer, but the heat has not hit yet. So we shall see !!!

 

26yh April 2023 and I'm pleased to see my Coral Pink leafing out. It was touch and go with last year's heat and drought.

13th April 2024 and no Spring frosts, so my Coral Pink is happy.
