German flower?

    When we moved here, this little spring flower was already here. Every year we have more.My husband thinks it is "Edielwiess"(spelling wrong?). Please tell me what you think and how to keep it blooming longer. Leeta

    It's Ornithogalum - possibly umbellatum???

    Thank you, you pointed me in the right direction.
    It turned out to be Orinithogalum Nutans. Star of Bethlehem which is used in Bach Flower remedies for grief and shock. The formula is called" Rescue Remedy".
