    The end is near!

The green ones have finally started to change and the Shishi is looking great. Plus I just had to end it with a couple of great shots of Maggie that my daughter took.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

    How sweet of Maggie, precious.
When you least expect it she will be picking colored leaves from those pretty maples lol.

They are too good, although the temperatures have already begun to drop and I hope they will drop or I will have to remove them in a week.

@monicasanchez good morning Monica, amazing to see your Seiryu just turning and my leaves have now all gone. Just shows what a couple of thousand miles will do !!!
All well here to answer your question, hope you are coping with these ongoing lockdowns. You have your lovely garden to help you through it, so that is a bonus. Enjoyed your photos on this dark and foggy start to the week here in England. Thankyou...

Last gasp . All my trees are bare except for these three.

Added bonus: my wife photoshopped Maggie sleeping in the trees.

Very nice trees, wonderful photos of Maggie : the first I saw made me think of Anne Geddes : one can instantly feel the love enhanced by the "magic" settings. When our kids were newborns we had a calendar with her photos, your pictures take me back... 31 years ago, and that is a very sweet feeling. Thanks, sharing love is one of the best thing we can do. ^_^

I'm not always sure about genes, but I'm certain that a baby that has recieved so much love in such a beautiful way will grow a healthy, happy girl. It's not about karma or anything mystical or religious, but I'm certain that her "environment" will give her all the chances for a good life. It's not about money, comfort or religion, it's about love.

Wow ! How serious and "deep" I am being, om shanti, om... <LOL> I'm too emotional.

PS : for those who hate kids, or for those (I hope they are more) who also like"ART IN NATURE", I see a kind of kinship with the art of Nils Udo. Sort of "Zen".

I saw some of his work at an exhibition part of "Les Jardins de Chaumont" and I was bluffed : that's really the kind of art I would have liked to make if I had been talented.

    All that's left.

We had a decent snow the other day. My wife took some ice shots. Plus I couldn't resist sneaking in Maggie and Harry.

Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

I have been absent months ago due to the pandemic. Now I am back!

I want to ask you something while I start to read all the old messages. This started to appear on my acer recently, today I started cutting to prevent. What can be? Thanks a lot. Latest photo is a ceratonia siliqua, the prunus genus appears this too.

I'm worried and I don't know what it is...

    Happy Holidays!

@Acirón good evening, sorry I haven't responded earlier, having looked at your photos the only thing I can think of is the start of Burls. Now this will not kill the tree but can cause it to be weakened. I am not aware of the cause I'm afraid and treatment as far as I know is unknown. Not very helpful I know, but you can take a look at photos of very old trees with this online that shows that trees do survive.

    Happy holidays to you also.

    @Acerholic thank you so much!

I did a treatment with copper and pruning. I'll keep track.
