A hike to Chester Lake in Kananaskis, Alberta

Chester Lake is a small lake in the Alberta side of the Canadian Rockies. It is located in the valley north west of Mount Chester in Spray Valley Provincial Park, Kananaskis Country in Alberta, Canada. It can be accessed from the Smith-Dorrien / Spray Trail road from the Chester day use area.

Note - this one was my first attempt - they hopefully improve. I gladly accept corrections to the names

One of my favorite hikes - Highwood Pass is the highest paved pass in Canada at 7,238ft. It lies within the Peter Lougheed Provincial Park on Alberta Highway 40.

Very nice. I think what you're calling Early Everlasting (Pearly Everlasting) may actually be one of the Antennarias - Pussytoes.

Not really, I hope to do some walking there too - from pub to pub - very appealing! My mum lives close to Stratford and the Cotswolds. I have been thinking about just going thru the quarantine to get there!

Yes sadly Covid is spreading rapidly over here, so quarantine is a fact of life atm. Your Mum lives in a lovely part of the UK, but compared to where you are it is now becoming rather crowded. Even more so where I am in Hampshire. Unfortunately never too far from motorway noise.

Your photos do show peace and tranquility, my wife and I are loving them. Do keep them coming Pat.
