Got this little cactus in a 2.25" nursery pot. Not sure what kind of cactus it is. Please help me out! :)
@Donnaa good morning and welcome to the forum, my suggestion is Mammillaria longimamma ? Common name Pineapple cactus.
Thank you all for helping me identify it! It looks like mandarin is correct, it looks exactly like trichodiadema densum when I googled it. Now I'll have to figure out how to care for it.
What an interesting find from a table of cacti. It certainly does resemble a cactus. I wonder how long it would take before it forms a caudex and begins to look like a bonsai.
If anyone has experience with this plant, please guide me! I don't seem to see many guides online in regard to caring for this succulent. I just repotted it in a 4" pot with cactus/succulent mix.
Found this: Trichodiadema Densum, Desert Rose in GardenTags plant encyclopedia. No information on culture but has a collection of photos of this plant: Cacti and Succulents Data Library with Photos by Coromandel Cacti.
