Identification: ID cactus?

    Got this little cactus in a 2.25" nursery pot. Not sure what kind of cactus it is. Please help me out! :)

    @Donnaa good morning and welcome to the forum, my suggestion is Mammillaria longimamma ? Common name Pineapple cactus.

    Not a cactus. I think it is a Trichodiadema densum.

    Thank you all for helping me identify it! It looks like mandarin is correct, it looks exactly like trichodiadema densum when I googled it. Now I'll have to figure out how to care for it.

    What an interesting find from a table of cacti. It certainly does resemble a cactus. I wonder how long it would take before it forms a caudex and begins to look like a bonsai.

    If anyone has experience with this plant, please guide me! I don't seem to see many guides online in regard to caring for this succulent. I just repotted it in a 4" pot with cactus/succulent mix.
