Just wondering...Would my bromeliads enjoy a small dead bug in the cup?

Thank you! I had read and practiced all the information I could find, but never ever read about someone actually feeding their in-house plants a bug. Or bug droppings. All of my bromeliads have pups right now, so I will designate one to try it on after they’ve been repotted. Now I need to find some mosquito larva and a tiny carving knife.

It may be an interesting experiment but I doubt there will be a noticeable effect if you continue to fertilize the plant. And if you were to stop fertilizing, the plant may become deficient in nutrients. In any case, please do post updates on your findings.
