D, one of the best so far. Not too hot just yet. We have some mid 90s coming this week.

Back home, no damage. My best friend is a very good friend ;°)

This 'Atropurpureum Dissectum' really surprises me : the pot is now much too small, I should have repotted it at least 2 years ago, but I love the colours of the pot.
It's in full sun from 10 to 17, and is in such good condition. After watering it from the hose :

The bark of my Acer griseum is peeling off, a likely consequance of the dry, hot weather :

New leaves on 'Jerre Schwartz'. They're a bit pale, I'll feed it some azalea-like fert, but it seems they're on the good path :

@dicky5ash, good morning R, that's a bit close, glad it missed you. I'm sure the RHS garden would have told the media if it had hit them. Tornadoes in England what next !!!!

Good morning, yet more rain today and strong winds forecast later, so took these early. Subtle changes in most now, but still some new growth.

@AlainK your Atropurpureum dissectum looks very similar to my unidentified one that I showed you in the Identification of my 15 year old Dissectum Thread. Does it stay this colour every year during summer? And did you bind the main branch to get this height?

Some non maples on a very dreary wet day..
I paid £1 each for these Hydrangeas in September in Homebase..apart from the last photo of the massive pale pink Annabelle.. potted them into redundant plastic/glass/paper recycling boxes..now we have a large mixed wheelie bin which is more discrete for excessive red wine consumption..so thought I should recycle the boxes

@dicky5ash, good afternoon R, if it is a good one, lol. Like October here atm.
Lovely Hydrangea's and the pink goes really well next to Ukigumo.
A bargain always seems that little bit better for us gardeners!!!

The Annabelle is absolutely massive, 'wonderful'.

Not sure what 80% translates to but my 'Aureum' receives 2 hours midday sun and little pieces later like in photo.

    My off topic excursion,
coneflower progress last week to today.

@dicky5ash, I have to keep an eye on my ON. Not too stable, but that is a trait with these unfortunately.
Yours is looking amazing though R.

@zfrittz, I cannot comprehend that heat J. Your maples must be suffering now? Do go careful yourself , that is dangerous temperatures.
