What is this tree

    I have this tree in my yard has not bloomed until this year ( lived here 4 yrs) it's about 15 ft tall and very bushy.
    We are on the coast by Longbeach Wa

    It looks like Chaenomeles japonica, Japanese quince.

    Thank you i was told there used to be small apple like fruits on it so that sounds like it may be right
