Resembles Corydalis

    Flowers look as though it is some kind of anemone or relation.

    Those flowers does not belong to that plant, I believe - there are a lot of them on the ground nearby.
    It seems like your plant grows somewhere under a maple tree.

    Thanks for pointing this out! Maybe Norway maple? The photo came from a third party so I don't have any more information about the plant.

    According to sources outside this forum, the plant might be dwarf goatsbeard (Aruncus aethusifolius).

    Since no background was given I assumed it was supposed to be growing wild in MN. Flowers are not those of Norway or any other maple.
