Yesterday I rescued a 4' rhododendron with many brown, dried, wilted leave and dead branches. I think it was planted too deep and/or very thirsty. It has a couple of blooms. I replanted it. Not the best time to move it, I know, but I feared it would die if left until after flowering. Now I'm wondering whether I should give it some food or just leave it be. If I feed it, What should I give it?

Sounds like Phytophthora root rot. Or it might be honey fungus. Impossible to say without seeing the specimen.

Hope it's not Phytophthora, Ron. I'll have to study some on honey fungus. Maybe the best thing to do is to just water the rhodo and monitor it over the next couple of weeks. No need to feed if I don't know whether I'm feeding the rhodo, the mold or the fungus.
