My (I assume) dracaena plant started developing a strange discoloration on the leaves and they quickly yellow and die. What can be causing it? Is there a way to save the plant? There were no changes in its environment recently.

Gosia, any updates? As I see you haven't got any replies on this.
Dracaenas usually will shed their bottom leaves to grow newer ones, but from what I see it's probably over-watering.

Nothing will grow back where the dead leaves are. You can cut off all the dead leaves, in which case you will have a long bare stalk. Or you can try starting new plants: cut off the green part to make a cutting, remove the bottom few leaves, and just push the cuttings into new soil, no stones in the bottom. We can't see the pot - use a pot with drainage holes, and if you put that inside another pot, make sure there is never water sitting in the outer pot. Just water when the pot feels almost as light as before you water it the first time. No guarantees!
