    Hi everybody,

I just tried saving a cactus from what it seemed to be an overwater and fungus problem, it was a 12 yr old cactus. The problem is that I had to cut everything until really near the root they are good though, no signs of rot. I would like to know if thereā€˜s any chance of a regrowth just from the roots and a piece of not so good cactus, that is still attatched to it.

    Thanks in advance!!

Yes, assuming that it really is healthy.

Just lay it on the surface of the soil and it will send out roots.
