Tree ID

    Can anyone ID this tree? It was growing along the edge of a trail in an open area (in Massachusetts), but it unident_tree (1).JPG unident_tree (2).JPG unident_tree (3).JPG unident_tree (4).JPG unident_tree (5).JPG is likely an introduced species.

    A Viburnum of some sort? Any flowers or fruit?

    No flowers or fruit. This time of the year the leaves on most of the trees have changed color and/or fallen off. This tree still had all its leaves and they were all green. The tree wasn't very large - maybe 15-20 feet tall.

    I think it looks a lot like Viburnum sieboldii. I'll have to see if the bruised leaves smell like green pepper. Thanks!
