If you’re in the area this place is definitely worth a look..some wonderful mature maples in the gardens as well as a magnificent collection of tropical plants and trees housed in Victorian green houses
Wonderful gardens to visit, but at 450 miles from us, probably not visiting anytime soon. Have seen it on tv (the beechgrove garden program), BBC Scotland. Looks like you had fantastic weather on your visit, hope you enjoyed it!
Interestingly I think I found a cultivar I was trying to identify on here..but there was no name plate on it Glasgow’s then mine below
Not so sure about that tbh. The lobes on the Glasgow maple go down and yours have an upward habit. It's so difficult to identify many when the labels are lost.
I'd love to visit this garden too but it's over 4400 miles from me! So, thanks for the photos - the next best thing to seeing such gardens in person!
