Identification: Trachycarpus fortunei

    Can someone please help me identify these green seedlike things on my Trachycarpus fortune,

    they are about 20mm in size

    They appear to be seed pods.

    These seem much bigger than the normal seeds on this plant , could it be they are pollinated . How can I best go about planting these , any help much appreciated.

    Yes, but. They don't look like Trachycarpus fortunei seeds I've ever seen. Can you post photos of the rest of your tree?

    Right (and really interesting, thank you), but what about the fruits? The infructescences that we see on these trees, with small blue fruits - they can be unfertilized fruits, and these relatively large green pods could be the same kind of tree?

    Thank you so much Wendy , I planted that palm about 15 years or so back so it as a lot of sentimental value . If I can grow more from its seed I will be so happy .
