I have this plant in a new house i have moved to. I have no idea if it is a weed or garden plant. Can anyone help to identify it for me. The seedpods are the size of M&Ms

Pretty similar to Smarties, which came first, I'm surprised to read.

Hello 'mickey the B' and welcome to this forum. I agree with Sundrop that your mystery plant looks like a euphorbia, commonly called Spurge. Some are desirable garden plants while others are too weedy to be tolerated. Their milky-white, latex-like sap, can be very irritating to the skin and potentially blinding in your eyes. So, if you choose to remove it, take care.

You are comparing the size of the seedpods to M&Ms candies are you not? (I prefer Smarties :-))

By the way, it can be very useful to us on this Forum to know, generally, where you are located because it often helps us to figure out the answer to your question. le10 1tu is too obscure.

I was going to tell Mickey that, but then I discovered that it's actually clickable, and very specific.

True, but wouldn't it be easier for members to see "Hinkley, UK" than to have to click on a postal code?

He he! Bless! What a sheltered life you have lived.

For anyone else that doesn't know......Smarties and M & M are both small sweets.
One made by Nestles...one by Mars.

Smarties....They have been manufactured since 1937
M & M.......The candy originated in the United States in 1941
