This palm tree was about 4ft when we first moved in about 4 year ago now it’s very tall and this year has flowers or something coming out of the top of the main palm tree, there are off shoots from the main palm tree too which I am not sure if I need to cut off and let the main one thrive or leave them as they are ?

If anyone can provide any information that would be great

This looks like Cordyline australis, common name cabbage palm, but in the asparagus family, not really a palm. From what I have seen around here, you can do anything you want with it except move it. Those are flowers, so keep those. Multiple trunks look nice. Here is some info: Cordyline / RHS Gardening.
