    Hello All,

I have adopted a new plant, the owner had it for 15 years and doesn't know what type of plant it is.

I call the plant Moffatt and he has some brown leaf tips (can I cut these off?) and some yellow spots on the leaves (from overwatering?).

I'd like to know what it is and if there is a way I can bring out some luster in Moffett, he is beautiful and i'd like to take proper care of him.

Looks like Dracaena fragrans 'Compacta' (syn. Dracaena deremensis 'Compacta').

Interesting! Thank you very much for your help with this :-) I'm also hoping to re-pot it to give it some extra room, so hard to find good affordable pots these days!
