Identification: Yellow tear drops

    These yellow dots have the similar colour and texture as those of Calocera cornea and Tremella mesenterica. Are they fungi? Or are these eggs of butterflies and dragonflies? They were found about 600 ft from a fresh water pond.

    Ah! Nice find - this is a myxomycete, a slime mold. Once considered part of Kingdom Fungi, it is now counted amongst the amoeboids, in the Kingdom sometimes called Protista.
    Yours is in reproductive mode, creating spore cases. I'm not expert in myxomycetes - my guess at an ID would be something along the lines of a Trichia or similar.
